It is evident that Software Companies started feeling the effect of recession in India as well..

Some companies are laying off people without notice period..

Motorola Hyderabad Layoff (15th Jan 2009)

Friends i came to thru a friend that around 40 full time employees are laid off from Motorola Hyderabad center on 15th Jan 2009.

The affected employees are offered decent severance packages, based on the years of say with.
I hope the affected employees will be able to carefully handle this once in a lifetime situation. I strongly recommend people to practice YOGA to handle these type of mental tensions.

Is ur machine Vista Compatible?

R u thinking of buying Vista or Upgrading to Vista...

If so do check the hardware compatability of ur machine here..

Do drop a comment if ur machine is compatible or not...

Here are few reasons why many of us can hold-on from buying vista:

-> PC is probably not up to the standard needed to run Vista in terms of memory, processing power, video performance and, quite possibly, disk space.

-> It's highly likely that at least some of the programs you use won't work with Vista.

My PC is not fully Vista compatible..

Income Tax changes for 2007-08

Hi Friends,
Hope you all have viewed the Budget session and are aware of the Income Tax policy for the New Financial Year..

Here are the Glimpses:

Income Tax Limits
For Men : Rs 1,10,000
For Women: Rs 1,45,000
For Senior Citizens: Rs 1,95,000.

There is a hike of 10% when comparted to previous year(s).
